I cannot express how excited I am for the line up of shows in 2016. I still have applications out, and applications to fill out! In 2015 we did a major home remodel that required us to move out. I made some beautiful pieces, but I didn’t have much time to get out there and sell it! I was busy with family and Home details. But not in 2016! We are in, it is finished and its time to get this hard work out There! My schedule is crazy fun! I’ll be hitting the road to shows across the South and nothing energizes me like the words “Road Trip”!

The best part about shows is the people that you meet. Going viral on social media, and “talking” online is nothing compared to witnessing someone’s face and hearing them gasp when they spot “their” Story! Inevitably I get to hear from them how they connect to the piece. And as an artist I can tell you nothing makes me glow like that moment. I’ve made great friends with clients, and have collectors who have stayed in touch for years. Sell a necklace, gain a friend. Yes Please!

I also get to be with “my people”! Artists, junkers, creatives, explorers, risk takers, idea havers, Leaps of Faithers! We have each asked the question “I wonder if someone else will love this like I do?”. We load our trucks, we make the drive, we haul All the Things, we work long dirty hours, we pour ourselves out. The behind the scenes at any of these events is a master work in and of itself. Artsy ant hills. I love the connections and the conversations- and the inspiration. There hasn’t been an event yet that I didn’t learn something new, or get the opportunity to share my experiences with someone else.

On my Upcoming Events Page you can find my show schedule so far- I’ll keep updating it! My latest acceptance I’n thrilled to announce, is to the Country Living Fair next fall in Atlanta, Georgia! This is really an achievement for me. I’ve worked so hard to make my work as strong, and good, and as much myself as I can. So while I expect rejections- Acceptances make me dance with happiness!

Enough typing- I have to get busy creating!
